Powerball numbers for Saturday November 09 2019, with information on payouts, winners in each prize tier and the location of any jackpot winning tickets sold.

Powerball Results, Numbers for 11/9/19: Did Anyone Win the $50 Million Jackpot on Saturday (Last) Night?

The Powerball numbers for the Saturday night have now been drawn. So what were the results—and did anyone take home the $50 million jackpot?

The winning numbers for November 9 were 14, 17, 35, 38 and 60. The Powerball was 25, with a Power Play of 2x.

Officials said no one was able to successfully scoop the $50 million prize by correctly matching all five white balls along with the red Powerball on this occasion. No one was able to match all five numbers without the Powerball, either.

A total of 14 people won $50,000 after matching four white balls and the red Powerball, with one of those people having their prize doubled to $100,000 because they had purchased the additional 2x Power Play.

With no one successfully winning $50 million top prize, it means the Powerball jackpot is estimated to be $60 million, with a cash option of $40 million, for the next draw on Thursday, November 14.

The last time the Powerball jackpot was won was back on November 2, with a total $150 million prize. The winning numbers were white balls 03, 23, 32, 37 and 58, plus Powerball 22 and Power Play multiplier 2x.

That was the seventh time the Powerball jackpot has been hit this year.

The Powerball jackpot was previously won in Wisconsin ($768.4 million) in the March 27 drawing, North Carolina ($344.6 million) in the June 1 drawing, Tennessee ($198 million) in the July 13 drawing, New York ($148 million) in the August 17 drawing, New York ($80 million) in the September 4 drawing, and Michigan ($80 million) in the September 21 drawing.

How do you play Powerball?

The Powerball is held twice a week, with draws taking place on a Wednesday and Saturday night, at 10:59 p.m. Each draw is broadcast live from the lottery studio in Tallahassee, Florida.

The lottery game is available to play in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Each ticket costs $2 per play, with payers selecting five numbers from 1 to 69, in addition to one red Powerball number from 1 to 26. In certain circumstances, players can also multiply non-jackpot prizes by using the Power Play option for an additional $1.

Powerball’s official website claims that players have a 1 in 24.9 chance of winning any prize regardless of the number of participants. But the chances of winning the grand prize jackpot are astronomically higher at 1 in 292,201,338, according to the official website.
